Drift Lesson@ Nusajaya Johore Baharu

We occasionally get request from students that requires us to travel outstation to conduct our lesson. We had used the Nusajaya facility in Johore on many occasions especially for students from Singapore as it is just a 10 minutes drive from the border. The lesson cars that were provided  will be trailered over along with a mechanic if any mechanical issue were to arise.

Beginner's Drift Lesson @ SPEEDCITY 19/11/2011

An intensive beginner's lesson was conducted for this supercar owner which had him tackling part of our intermediate training module by the end of the day. A person to watch in the very near future!!!

We recently held a Beginners Drift lesson for 4 students with our 2 rental cars. As always everyone had fun and were able to drift by the end of the day . So much so that one of them even place a deposit for a drift car of his own later that night!!!

Father Daughter Duo lessons

 

We had a few classes where the students were related to each other or some sort. This session had a father and his daughter participating. We usually find that the healthy competitive rivalry between family members tend to make the students pick things up faster as they tend to be more motivated!! The father and daughter duo was no exception :)

DriftXotic session & lesson @Speedcity 13th August 2011

The drifters from Singapore's Drift Garage held a drift session/lesson at SpeedCity a few weeks ago and had commissioned us to organise the event.

We managed to utilise the whole area to hold 3 separate activities which were; Beginners Lesson ,Intermediate Lesson and a Fun Course for the rest 

 

The event went smoothly with  the beginners acquiring new skills and the intermediates pushing themselves to a higher level.

More sessions are planned for the future .So do keep a look out for them!!

 Mardi once had a great drifting facility which could be easily configured to our needs. We had two separate lesson area; beginners and intermediate for this session  back in 19/2/2011
This lesson had number of students driving their own cars, a practice I would greatly encourage as it greatly reduces your learning curve time. A machine you are familiar with and will be used in the future for drifting is your best bet. Using it during lessons also give you the opportunity to find out any flaws or set up errors that could be corrected . This session also had our former beginners student from America , Bob, flying over specially  for his intermediate lesson!

 Held at the Nusajaya Drift track on18/7/2009 , we had the opportunity of conducting a beginners drift lesson for the members of the Porsche Club Singapore.

Lesson Cars: AE86

We currently a few cars out for rental for our lessons which includes this AE86 hatch you see here.

Powered by a 4AGE 20V this car puts out 147whp which is fairly alot of power for a 900kg car!

This car is equiped with a 6 point roll cage and twin bucket seats along with two 4 point harness belts for your safety. A two way LSD along with after market suspension is fitted on this car. A hydrallic handbrake system along with a twin rear brake caliper allows the driver to lock the rear tires effortlessly in this car!

It's about time

We have been conducting  driving classes which includes drifting , advance driving and stunt driving for over 8 years now and we believe it is about time our academy had a blog of its own . So do watch this space from time to time.
